Quonix, a growing datacenter and cloud services provider founded in Philadelphia, PA in 2005, has completed its acquisition of Data102, a Colorado Springs, CO based datacenter and IT solutions provider. The companies have begun integrating back office tools, processes, and products to provide a best-of-breed experience to all customers globally.
As part of the merger the surviving entity, Quonix Solutions LLC of PA, has chosen to adopt the Data102 name going forward. "We feel that Data102 has a great brand and a strong track record of operational excellence, and we think that this will better serve our customers going forward," said Quonix's CEO Adam Parker, who is continuing as CEO for the combined entity.
Top notch customer service is paramount to everything we do here at Quonix, and that will continue under the name Data102. We look forward to sharing our new tools, products, and opportunities with your business!
Nothing! The merger of the organizations will have no impact on your services. We will be reaching out to all customers individually to answer any questions you may have.
Over the next few months Quonix will transition some of its BSS/OSS services, like ticketing and invoicing, onto Data102's established platforms. This will give you a full view into you service at any time, including device monitoring, bandwidth graphing, billing, and invoicing, all in one stop!
Additionally, we will be rolling out some exciting network upgrades, offering some additional products, and pursuing some additional certifications - stay tuned!
A: Only good things! Quonix customers will immediately get access to our Ops portal and expanded staffing. We are also using Data102 as a blueprint to overbuild some of the Quonix operations. Data102 customers will have access to both Philadelphia locations for services, including Disaster Recovery, as well as greater economies of scale -- and as we add more locations, that means better products for better prices.
A: Data102 has been a well oiled machine for quite some time, and the owners decided that with the right people, it can really go places and do things. At the same time, Quonix was out on the market looking to expand its footprint - and a match was made! Now we are working together to continue to grow the combined company both organically and through acquisitions.
A: Nothing changes here either - 719-387-0000 for Colorado Springs folks, or 888-Data102 everywhere else. No changes to the Philadelphia customers, either -- 800-248-1736 still takes you straight to the PHL staff.
