BGP Blended Quonix IP Backbone
Quonix is a niche provider in that we offer both an in-house BGP blended IP backbone and carrier neutral cross connect access. The majority of our clients use less than 100Mbps of 95th percentile bandwidth commit, and for these clients it is much easier and cheaper to use our in-house backbone that is fully BGP redundant and delivered via a routed ethernet subnet. The handoff can be connected directly to your servers or your switch, no need to use a router. Best of all, you can purchase as little or as much bandwidth as you need. Whether its simply 1Mbps of commit on a burstable 100Mbps pipe, or a full dedicated 100Mbps handoff, pay only for what you use on a monthly commit basis. Some of our competitors do not offer in in-house IP backbone option, and instead force you to buy a large and expensive pipe directly from a carrier, not very cost effective.
Carrier Neutral Cross Connect Access
Get the best of both worlds! Even though we have a great in-house IP backbone, we are still a carrier neutral facility with several on-net carriers located in our datacenter for immediate cross connect. If you are a larger user of bandwidth (>100Mbps) or have custom connectivity requirements (MPLS, Point-to-Point, Telephony) you are not forced to use our bandwidth, and instead can get service directly with a carrier of your choosing. Quonix is on-net for the following carriers:
